TrackMania United Forever-DETONATiON

Trackmania is an arcade racing game for windows which has grown in popularity immensly recently. The basis of the game is that you can build your own, incredible tracks and then race them with your car. I’ve only played one of the earlier TrackMania games once before, but I can definitely recommend it. I have some friends who are glued to this thing. This version of TrackMania is marketed as the “Ultimate edition”. It is only 1.08 GB, so you know you’ll get your bandwidths worth on this release (”Forever” is basically a patch, but it became so big that they gave it its own name). You will NOT be able to play this game online unless you have a legitimate CD-Key. If you want to do that then download the free version called TrackMania Nations Forever here.

Note: I know some of you have problems with the tracks to choose etc. To fix that do this:
1.) you go to my documents
2.) and then cut the trackmania folder (and put it somewhere) not trackmania united
3.) on the next start of the game you will have to create a new profile >:/ but u can choose all cars etc.

It’s been a while since last decent game so every gamer probably appreciates this new release of PC version of Iron Man. The movie is a big hit right now and this game will only extend the popularity of Tony Stark. This action game isn’t somehow revolutionary or spectacular, but it can serve well as an entertainment for few hours, especially with the flying mode.

Marvel and SEGA bring this invincible armored hero to theaters and video game platforms in 2008. Iron Man, one of Marvel’s most indestructible crime fighters, is blasting onto video game platforms and the big screen next year! Armed with a high-tech suit and a variety of weapons, the player will take on entire armies on constantly evolving and chaotic battlefields. The epic, action-packed Marvel Studios production will be directed by John Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges, Terrence Howard and Gwyneth Paltrow. Thrilling sequences from the film will be featured in this third-person action game, immersing the player in the explosive militaristic combat with loads of additional content created exclusively for the game.

Group SKIDROW released two small games during this slow night and here’s the first of them: a funny adventure Jack Keane from German developer Deck 13. This is basically a conversion of old good LucasArts titles like Broken Sword or Monkey Island into the modern world, but it can’t be compared with the old masterpieces in terms of gameplay. Anyway, if you like point and click adventures, this can be worth downloading to kill few hours.

Jack Keane is presented in an enthralling atmosphere with masses of well-elaborated characters, plenty of cinematic cut scenes with many funny allusions to famous movies, video and computer games. Jack Keane is completely designed in 3-D and still maintains a classic adventure atmosphere.

The story starts in London, where Jack is chased by professional thugs. While escaping, he gets assigned by the queen to go the island of the evil “Doctor T.”. On the way to the island, Jack meets his dream girl Armanda and together they slowly discover the plans of the evil “Doctor” and his carnivorous plants. Will they manage to cross his plans and finally save the world?

Here we go again, another Warhammer game. People seem to play these games though, so I’ll be posting about it. Major group RELOADED have cracked it for you, but lets hope we wont need a crackfix from ViTALiTY which happened with the last Warhammer release. In this expansion pack you get some new campaigns and stuff of that nature, so if you enjoyed the original Mark of Chaos, then you will probably want to download this. Naturally, since this is an expansion you WILL need the original to play this release. HF.

It’s hard to believe someone would release game like this in 2008 but action dungeon / adventure Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa was released by group ARMADA tonight. I can’t believe the distributor tries to sell such a title – there are many freeware games which offer way more fun and better graphic. Anyway, it has just something over 100 MB so if you want to give it a try, you won’t complain about wasted bandwith at least…

Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa provides players with a fascinating array of options to explore, making every game a unique experience. Rapius will face dozens of monsters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, various environmental hazards, and deadly boss encounters. Along the way he’ll learn to craft items, drink potions, eat magic mushrooms, smoke fungus, imbibe booze (from cheap Gobbo ale to lip-smacking Moon River whiskey), and much more. Among other things Rapius can become invisible, diseased, hungover, poisoned, and even a werewolf (hopefully not all at once)!

Rapius must also master his lantern, his source of illumination in the underworld. If the lantern is turned up Rapius will be able to see (and be seen!) further into the void, allowing him to make long range attacks on his foes. If the lantern is turned down, Rapius can attempt to creep past danger, sidestepping beasties he’s not quite ready to tackle.

If the lantern is burning hot and bright, oil is more quickly consumed than when the wick is low. While oil flasks are scattered throughout the adventure, knowing when to flare and when to soften the light is a key strategy to Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa.

Donkey Xote-RELOADED

RELOADED returns with a new game release: a simple adventure Donkey Xote from Take2 and Spanish developer Revistronic. This is a pretty unknown title which is hard to find on the internet – there’s a same titled movie, but I doubt there’s any connection. The game will surely feature a famous knight Don Quijote but other details are unknown at this moment.

While most young scholars may recall the tale of Don Quixote, Revistronic is delivering an alternative take on this classic story, incorporating the fresh perspective of Sancho’s donkey, Rucio. According to Revistronic, players will, “face the challenge of meeting Dulcinea” with an adventure that will “lead from Sancho’s house” and include “a jousting tournament in Barcelona.”

guess you aren’t used to associate a decent game with group SKIDROW, but this might be a nice exception: Terrorist Takedown 2 is a first person shooter, which doesn’t look bad at all (at least if you compare it to the “usual” SKIDROW releases). The graphic looks fairly acceptable, there’s dynamic lightning and nice special effects and even multiplayer (which won’t probably work in this cracked version). Give it a try and share your experience, the installation file isn’t that big…

The war on terror is raging. Violence is escalating. Time and again, civilians are being kidnapped for ransom. Despite earlier assertions, the government takes up negotiations to free the hostages. The Immortals of Terra is a space adventure set in 4934 AD starring Perry Rhodan. For nearly 3000 years the astronaut Perry Rhodan, who has become immortal through a cell activator, has controlled the fate of his people, when suddenly an explosion shakes the centre of the Terranian Power. During this explosion Perry Rhodan’s immediate confidante Mondra is kidnapped by extraterrestrial combat robots.
Alone he tries to find the true reasons for the irruption as well as the manipulators behind the conspiracy. During his search he discovers recordings about the myth of a thought to be dead, extraterrestrial race that had enslaved humanity a long, long time ago – the Illochim. With bravery, cleverness and brilliant investigation, he manages to light up the darkness. His untiring search leads him to many foreign races across the galaxy, away from his mother planet Terra to the subterranean colonies of the planet Gom Callaedus in undiscovered enemy territory. While fighting with organ traders and exiled criminals the secret behind the dangerous incidents is finally solved: the truth about the awakened, life-threatening danger for the residents of the Milky Way is lying buried on the far away moon Betha.
